Mr. Hassan (in the Middle) is a deaf gentleman whose life changed in 2005 when Madam Hong Chai Angella trained him in different nail skills. He learned how to do manicure, pedicure, artificial nails, and nail art. Even though he faced communication challenges, he was determined to learn and become good at his work.
After completing his training, Hassan continued practicing and improving his skills. With time, he became very good at nail care and started serving clients confidently. His hard work helped him build a strong reputation and proved that disability does not limit someone’s ability to succeed.
Today, Hassan is one of the nail trainers at J&V Foundation. He now trains other youth, women, and men with disabilities, passing on the same skills that changed his own life. His journey shows how skills training can transform a person’s future and help them become independent.
Hassan’s story is an inspiration and a reminder that when people are given the right support and opportunity, they can achieve great things.
